Second Annual Mountain Community Barefoot Mile

Join us for the second annual family-friendly Mountain Community Barefoot Mile: a one-mile walk, plus music, food, face and foot painting! Your participation will help raise awareness for the life-saving work of JOY International. Based locally in Conifer, JOY International helps rescue and restore children, teens, and young women who are victims of human trafficking for the purposes of sexual exploitation. Barefoot Mile walks are held across our country from Anchorage to Nashville to raise essential funds for rescue operations and training for law enforcement teams around the world. In addition to participating in the event, other ways to support the cause include forming a team, signing on as a business sponsor, and volunteering. For more information, go to thebarefootmile.org.
